Annual Diary ("we", "us", or "our") provides the Annual Diary applications for supported platforms, including Android, iOS, and Windows (the "Service").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose information in connection with the Service.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use¶

We collect and use information only as necessary to provide, maintain, improve, and protect the Service.

Information created or selected by users, such as diary entries, photos, files, and app settings, is primarily stored on the user's device or in storage services connected by the user.

We do not use our own servers to automatically collect or store users' diary entries or photos.

Types of Data Handled¶

User-Created Data¶

The Service may handle information created, entered, or selected by the user, including:

• Diary entries and related dates
• Diary-related metadata
• Photos and files selected or attached by the user
• App settings and configuration data

This information is used to provide the features and services requested by the user.

Connected Services and Storage¶

The Service may connect to third-party accounts and services, including storage, synchronization, authentication, and other services.

When the user enables such a connection, the Service may access or store the information necessary to provide the requested features through the connected service.

For example, when Google Drive integration is enabled, diary data, attached photos, and related files may be stored in the user's Google Drive account.

Information accessed through a connected service is used only to provide the requested features. We do not sell users' diary data, photos, or data stored in their connected accounts, and we do not use such data for our own advertising purposes.

Users may delete data stored in a connected service according to that service's functions and policies. Users may also revoke the Service's access from the settings of the relevant account or service.

Account and Authentication Information¶

When the user connects an account or third-party service, the Service may access limited account, authentication, authorization, or service-related information necessary to provide the requested features.

The information and permissions requested may differ depending on the platform, connected service, and features used.

The Service requests only the permissions necessary for the applicable features.

Subscriptions and Purchases¶

The Service may offer optional subscriptions or other paid features through official stores or billing services available for supported platforms.

The applicable platform or billing service provider processes payments, billing, refunds, and other purchase-related matters.

We do not receive or store payment card numbers or other payment instrument details through these integrations.

The Service may access product, purchase, license, or entitlement information only to verify the user's purchase or subscription status and enable features made available under the applicable plan.

Purchases and subscription entitlements may be managed separately by each platform or billing provider. Entitlements may not be linked, shared, or transferred between platforms.

The Service may temporarily store purchase or subscription status information on the user's device so that applicable features can be handled when the device is temporarily offline.

Usage and Diagnostic Data¶

The Service or third-party services used by the Service may collect or process usage-related, diagnostic, security, performance, or crash-related information.

This information may include:

• Device type and operating system information
• App version and platform information
• App usage or interaction information
• Advertising identifiers or similar identifiers
• Crash reports and diagnostic information
• Information necessary to detect fraud, abuse, or technical problems

The information may be used to provide, maintain, secure, analyze, and improve the Service, and to detect and address technical problems.

Advertising¶

Depending on the platform, app version, distribution channel, subscription status, and features available at the time, the Service may or may not display advertisements.

When advertisements are displayed, the Service may use third-party advertising services, such as Google AdMob or other advertising providers, to deliver, measure, manage, and improve advertisements.

Advertising services may collect or process information such as advertising identifiers, device information, IP addresses, app activity, approximate usage information, and diagnostic information.

The types of advertisements, advertising services, and information handled may differ depending on the platform, app version, distribution channel, user settings, and applicable subscription or other service status.

Purposes of Use¶

We may use information for the following purposes:

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• To provide features and services requested by the user
• To store, access, restore, synchronize, or otherwise process user-created data when requested by the user
• To authenticate users and maintain connections to third-party services
• To process and verify purchases, subscriptions, licenses, or other entitlements
• To display, deliver, measure, manage, and improve advertisements
• To provide customer support
• To analyze and improve the Service
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security issues, and technical problems
• To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights

Disclosure of Information¶

We do not sell users' diary entries, photos, or data stored in accounts or services controlled by the user.

We may disclose or allow access to information in the following circumstances:

• When necessary to provide features requested by the user
• To platform providers, billing providers, connected service providers, advertising providers, and other service providers that help operate, maintain, secure, analyze, or improve the Service
• To comply with legal obligations or lawful requests
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of the Service, users, or others
• To prevent or investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or other wrongdoing
• When necessary in connection with a business transfer, reorganization, or similar transaction

Advertising providers are not given access to diary entries, photos, or data stored in connected accounts for advertising purposes.

Third-party service providers handle information according to their own policies and applicable agreements.

Service Providers¶

We may use third-party services to provide, maintain, secure, analyze, advertise, or improve the Service.

These services may include:

• Platform app stores and billing services
• Authentication and account services
• Cloud storage and synchronization services
• Advertising services
• Diagnostic, crash-reporting, security, and performance services
• Other services necessary to operate or improve the Service

Depending on the platform and features used, these services may include Google services such as Google Drive and Google AdMob, Microsoft services such as Microsoft Store, Apple services such as the App Store, and other services used by the Service.

These third-party services may collect or process information according to their own privacy policies.

Data Retention and Deletion¶

Information stored on the user's device remains there until the user deletes it, clears the app data, or uninstalls the Service.

Information stored in a connected account or third-party service remains there according to the user's actions and that service's policies.

Temporary purchase, subscription, authorization, or service-status information stored on the user's device may be retained until it is cleared, replaced, or overwritten, or until the user clears the app data or uninstalls the Service.

Users may delete local app data through the device settings or by uninstalling the Service.

Users may delete data stored in connected services through the functions provided by those services.

Users may also revoke the Service's access through the settings of the relevant account or service.

Transfer of Information¶

Information handled by third-party services, including platform stores, billing services, connected services, advertising services, and other service providers, may be processed on servers located outside the user's country or region.

The applicable service providers may process information in countries or regions where data protection laws may differ from those in the user's jurisdiction.

The handling of information by such third-party services is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.

Data Protection¶

We use reasonable measures to protect information handled through the Service.

At present, we do not operate our own backend server for storing users' diary entries or attached photos.

Depending on the features used, user-created data may be stored in:

• Local storage on the user's device
• A third-party storage or synchronization service connected by the user

When information is transmitted between the Service and a connected service, the Service uses security measures such as HTTPS/TLS where supported by the applicable service.

The Service requests only the permissions necessary for the applicable features. The permissions and APIs used may differ depending on the platform, connected service, and features used.

For the current Google Drive integration, the Service uses the drive.file permission to access files and folders selected or created through the Service. This permission is not used to read unrelated files.

Authentication credentials and authorization information are handled locally on the user's device where applicable and are not sent to an Annual Diary backend server.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy¶

The Service is not specifically directed to children.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the Service, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

Links to Other Sites¶

The Service may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties.

If you click a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's website or service.

We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of every third-party website or service you visit.

We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party websites or services.

Changes to This Privacy Policy¶

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.

利用者が作成したデータ¶

本サービスは、利用者が作成、入力または選択した次のような情報を取り扱う場合があります。

• 日記本文および関連する日付
• 日記に関連するメタデータ
• 利用者が選択または添付した写真やファイル
• アプリの設定および構成情報

これらの情報は、利用者が要求した機能およびサービスを提供するために使用されます。

接続されたサービスおよび保存先¶

本サービスは、第三者が提供するアカウントや、保存、同期、認証その他のサービスに接続する場合があります。

利用者がこのような接続を有効にした場合、本サービスは、利用者が要求した機能を提供するために必要な情報を、接続されたサービスを通じて参照または保存する場合があります。

例えば、Google Drive連携を有効にした場合、日記データ、添付写真および関連ファイルが、利用者のGoogle Driveアカウントに保存される場合があります。

接続されたサービスを通じて取得した情報は、利用者が要求した機能を提供する目的に限り使用します。当方は、利用者の日記データ、写真、または利用者が管理するアカウントに保存されたデータを販売せず、当方独自の広告目的で使用しません。

利用者は、接続されたサービスの機能およびポリシーに従い、そのサービスに保存されたデータを削除できます。また、対象となるアカウントまたはサービスの設定から、本サービスのアクセス権を取り消すことができます。

アカウントおよび認証情報¶

利用者がアカウントまたは第三者サービスを接続した場合、本サービスは、要求された機能を提供するために必要な範囲で、アカウント情報、認証情報、認可情報またはサービスに関する情報にアクセスする場合があります。

要求する情報および権限は、利用するプラットフォーム、接続されたサービスおよび機能によって異なる場合があります。

本サービスは、該当する機能に必要な権限のみを要求します。

サブスクリプションおよび購入¶

本サービスは、対応するプラットフォームで利用できる公式ストアまたは課金サービスを通じて、任意のサブスクリプションその他の有料機能を提供する場合があります。

支払い、請求、返金その他の購入に関する処理は、該当するプラットフォームまたは課金サービスの提供者が行います。

当方は、これらの連携を通じて、クレジットカード番号その他の支払い手段の詳細情報を取得または保存しません。

本サービスは、利用者の購入またはサブスクリプションの状態を確認し、適用されるプランで提供される機能を有効にする目的に限り、商品情報、購入情報、ライセンス情報または利用資格情報を参照する場合があります。

購入およびサブスクリプションの利用資格は、プラットフォームまたは課金サービスごとに個別に管理される場合があります。あるプラットフォームの利用資格が、別のプラットフォームと連携、共有または移行されるとは限りません。

一時的にオフラインの場合にも該当する機能を処理できるよう、購入またはサブスクリプションの状態を端末内に一時的に保存する場合があります。

利用状況および診断データ¶

本サービスまたは本サービスが利用する第三者サービスは、利用状況、診断、セキュリティ、性能またはクラッシュに関する情報を収集または処理する場合があります。

この情報には、次のような情報が含まれる場合があります。

• 端末の種類およびOSに関する情報
• アプリのバージョンおよびプラットフォーム情報
• アプリの利用状況または操作に関する情報
• 広告識別子または類似の識別子
• クラッシュレポートおよび診断情報
• 不正利用、悪用または技術的な問題の検出に必要な情報

これらの情報は、本サービスの提供、維持、保護、分析および改善、ならびに技術的な問題の検出および対応のために使用される場合があります。

広告¶

本サービスでは、プラットフォーム、アプリのバージョン、配布形態、サブスクリプションの状態およびその時点で提供されている機能に応じて、広告を表示する場合と表示しない場合があります。

広告を表示する場合、本サービスは、Google AdMobその他の広告事業者など、第三者の広告サービスを利用して、広告の配信、測定、管理および改善を行う場合があります。

広告サービスは、広告識別子、端末情報、IPアドレス、アプリの利用状況、おおよその利用情報、診断情報などを収集または処理する場合があります。

広告の種類、広告サービスおよび取り扱われる情報は、プラットフォーム、アプリのバージョン、配布形態、利用者の設定、サブスクリプションその他のサービスの状態によって異なる場合があります。

当方は、次の目的で情報を利用する場合があります。

• 本サービスの提供、運営および維持
• 利用者が要求した機能およびサービスの提供

情報の開示¶

当方は、利用者の日記本文、写真、または利用者が管理するアカウントやサービスに保存されたデータを販売しません。

当方は、次の場合に情報を開示またはアクセス可能にすることがあります。

• 利用者が要求した機能を提供するために必要な場合
• 本サービスの運営、維持、保護、分析または改善を支援するプラットフォーム提供者、課金提供者、接続サービス提供者、広告提供者その他のサービス提供者に対して必要な範囲で提供する場合
• 法的義務または適法な要請に従うため
• 本サービス、利用者または第三者の権利、財産または安全を保護するため

広告提供者に対して、広告目的で日記本文、写真、または接続されたアカウントに保存されたデータへのアクセスを許可することはありません。

当方は、本サービスの提供、維持、保護、分析、広告表示または改善のために、第三者サービスを利用する場合があります。

• クラウド保存および同期サービス
• 広告サービス

データの保持および削除¶

端末内に保存された情報は、利用者が削除、アプリデータの消去または本サービスのアンインストールを行うまで、端末内に保持されます。

接続されたアカウントまたは第三者サービスに保存された情報は、利用者の操作および当該サービスのポリシーに従って保持されます。

端末内に一時保存された購入、サブスクリプション、認証またはサービスの状態に関する情報は、消去、更新、上書き、アプリデータの消去または本サービスのアンインストールまで保持される場合があります。

利用者は、端末の設定または本サービスのアンインストールにより、端末内のアプリデータを削除できます。

接続されたサービスに保存されたデータは、そのサービスが提供する機能を通じて削除できます。

利用者は、対象となるアカウントまたはサービスの設定から、本サービスのアクセス権を取り消すこともできます。

データの移転¶

プラットフォームストア、課金サービス、接続されたサービス、広告サービスその他の第三者サービスによって取り扱われる情報は、利用者の国または地域外にあるサーバーで処理される場合があります。

これらのサービス提供者は、利用者の居住地域とは異なるデータ保護法が適用される国または地域で情報を処理する場合があります。

第三者サービスによる情報の取り扱いは、それぞれのプライバシーポリシーおよび利用規約に従います。

データの保護¶

当方は、本サービスを通じて取り扱われる情報を保護するため、合理的な安全対策を講じます。

現在、当方は、利用者の日記本文または添付写真を保存するための独自のバックエンドサーバーを運用していません。

利用する機能に応じて、利用者が作成したデータは、次のような場所に保存される場合があります。

• 利用者の端末内の保存領域
• 利用者が接続した第三者の保存または同期サービス

本サービスと接続されたサービスとの間で情報を送信する場合、利用するサービスが対応している範囲で、HTTPS/TLSなどの安全対策を使用します。

本サービスは、該当する機能に必要な権限のみを要求します。使用する権限およびAPIは、プラットフォーム、接続されたサービスおよび機能によって異なる場合があります。

現在のGoogle Drive連携では、Google Drive上で本サービスを通じて選択または作成されたファイルやフォルダーにアクセスするため、drive.file権限を使用しています。この権限を、関係のないファイルを読み取るためには使用しません。

認証情報および認可情報は、該当する場合、利用者の端末内で管理され、Annual Diaryのバックエンドサーバーには送信されません。

送信または保存の方法が完全に安全であるとは限らないため、当方は絶対的な安全性を保証することはできません。

児童のプライバシー¶

本サービスは、児童を主な対象として提供されるものではありません。

児童が本サービスを通じて個人情報を提供したと思われる場合は、適切な対応を行うため、当方までご連絡ください。

他サイトへのリンク¶

本サービスには、第三者が運営するウェブサイトまたはサービスへのリンクが含まれる場合があります。

第三者のリンクをクリックした場合、その第三者のウェブサイトまたはサービスに移動します。
